I was born and lived most of my life in Yorkshire in England. Then I lived in the abundant rolling hills of Somerset for a while. Now I currently reside in the rugged raw mountainous landscape of the Spanish Pyrenees.

Since I was a child I have always been interested in art. Exploring it in various forms throughout school, college and university. I have worked a lot both in traditional and digital mediums. As a painter though I am currently almost entirely self-taught. Although I studied art in my education years I still felt very blocked up creatively (and internally!).

Eventually a path found me that has taken me on a fascinating journey spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Bit by bit what was holding me back began to disintegrate. The more I communed with myself and nature, the more my true being wanted to come through and what didn’t feel like me just fell away. Life brings me much wonder and enables me to see what is possible and that there really is an intelligence to this universe. Also I have much to be grateful for with the work of the purification space (www.oraclegirl.org) that has transformed my life in many beautiful ways.

I am a dreamer and a lover of stars. I like to see beyond the cages we put on ourselves and feel us to be infinite beings of both knowing and mystery in this vast ocean of possibilities we live in. The stars feel like home to me and also this Earth does too even if a better dream is yet to be realised for this planet.

With my art I like to capture the richness of the world, the universe and my experiences of life. Love and beauty inspires me. My artworks depict a dream like quality to them. Often expressing a sense of fun, innocence, joy, love and lightness as I feel that is our true state of being. A seed of an image may appear in my vision and then it grows often in unexpected ways into a final piece. I don’t always know how it’s going to turn out as it is mostly an intuitive process. What comes through me feels like it is capturing the sacred energies of nature and the universe. And also with my own signature on it even if I might feel “self” is always morphing and changing as life moves through me which can create different expressions in my art.

I also feel inspired by different ancient cultures and spiritual pathways that I have encountered from around the world or experienced throughout in my own life. My artworks can be an expression of something we have forgotten as well as connecting in with the new energies available as we go through phases on this planetary journey.

Also I enjoy: writing, playing instruments, dancing, holistic nutrition, being around animals, gazing at a starry sky, walking in nature and even just simply sitting and being with myself connecting to the silence within.
