About

I was born and lived most of my life in Yorkshire in England. Then I have lived in the beautiful, abundant  countryside of Somerset for a while. Now currently I am residing in the Pyrenees mountains of Spain where the mountains brings lots of inspiration and colourful transformative experiences.

Since I was a child I have always been interested in art and studied it throughout my education in both traditional and digital forms. Although despite that my creativity still felt extremely blocked up. It was only when a path found me that involved transmuting and letting go off my blocks and inhibitions and coming more back to myself, that my creativity started to flow and flourish. Now my life consists of always stripping back what is no longer me and living more fully from my own true being. It is a process that unfolds on its own naturally that then feeds into my own direct input and has given me very rich experiences of life and shown me what is possible.

I am a dreamer and a lover of stars. I connect in with the energies of nature… coming back to its roots which I feel we have long forgotten. Nature for me, as well, doesn’t feel separate from the rest of the cosmos. Tapping into the source of nature and therefore myself is connecting with universal energies that’s prevalent throughout everything.

With my art I love capturing the richness of the world, the universe and my experiences of life. Love and beauty inspires me. I often receive my ideas for artworks through visions, even dreams. Usually when I’ve tapped into some sort of sacred space within me whether I’m intentionally doing it or the space just spontaneously arises from my simply being and loving. Or something turns up in my physical reality that can spark my imagination and the idea takes hold and I know this is my next artwork. It can feel like I am guided coming from within in someway.

My artworks often depict a dream-like quality to them. Often expressing a sense of fun, love, energy and innocence which I feel is our true state of being we can tap into. Like with all artworks… my art are also portals into different worlds and certain energies. Art can transport someone or give them reminders of something that they feel within themselves. There is a resonance and recognition of something that is already there. I feel creatives have the task of seeding and growing what it is they want to see within themselves and with others. What’s within will get expressed outwards. As I am a strong dreamer, seeing the beautiful possibilities of this world, that’s what gets expressed out of me.

I also feel inspired by ancient cultures and spiritual pathways that I have encountered from around the world and experienced throughout my own life. My artworks can be an expression of something we have forgotten as well as connecting in with the new energies that are now available on this planet.

Also I enjoy: writing, dancing, playing instruments, holistic nutrition, being around animals, gazing at a starry sky, walking in nature and even just simply sitting and being with myself connecting to the silence within.
